Offered are 4 basal bamboo stems that are heavy and strong, with pretty short internodes, with very thick walls, with a few oblique nodes, and some are trumpet-shaped, and all with root primordia. All poles are FREE.

They are suitable for bamboo carving, handicrafts, furniture legs (e.g., for bamboo beds, sofas, low tables), and similar special purposes.

Species: Phai Tong (ไผ่ตง), Dendrocalamus asper, northern Thailand.

Several pre-cut BLACK bamboo poles, ca. 1–5 m (3–16 ft) long, diameter 4–6 cm (1.6–2.4 in), moderately thick-walled. Species: Bambusa lako, Timor Black Bamboo, ไผ่ดำติมอร์ (phai dam timor).

The poles are good for interior design, furniture, and handicrafts. Please bring your own tools: a short sharp handsaw, garden scissors, and a machete to cut off branches, and to cut off select sections of the poles. The poles can be picked up between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
