Species: Bambusa textilis var. gracilis and 2 dwarf species of Gigantochloa.

No longer available since the end of August 2021. However, if you are interested in this type of poles for the same use, please contact us, because poles of these bamboos will be available again later, intended from late February 2022.

Some 200 thin poles of a different species (Bambusa multiplex) ideal for the same use of supporting climbers (but for climbers up to only 2 m height) were available from late January to mid-February 2022. All poles were shredded and provided excellent material for compost.

The poles are thin, to about 1.5 cm in diameter and up to 5 m long. Some poles with different dimensions and different usability may also be available.

There are currently more ready-cut bamboo poles available than are shown on the photo above. We have ready-cut bamboo poles and living bamboo clumps whose stems are due to be cut. The latter include some species with stems particularly useful for heavy constructions. We only cut such stems when required, not in advance. So we recommend seeing the bamboos first, and then you can decide which bamboos you want. Depending on the intended use of bamboo poles, the species should be selected, as no species is suitable for every possible use.
