20+ stems of Schizostachyum zollingeri from southern Thailand, ไผ่เมี่ยงไฟ (phai miang fai), were cut on 30 March 2025 and are offered FREE of charge. Additional culms of the same quantity or little more will be harvested on 1 April 2025. The cut stems are 5+ m long, straight or slightly bent, with branches and leaves, 2.5–6 cm in diameter, moderately thick-walled to thin-walled.
