28 poles of Thyrsostachys oliveri, ไผ่รวใหญ่ (phai ruak yai), Oliver Bamboo, were cut on 7 Feb. 2025 and offered FREE of charge. The straight, over 20 m tall stems were harvested and cut into solid to thick-walled, 9–11.7 m long poles of 5–6 cm diameter, ideal for strong construction as poles and beams.
