10 poles of Dendrocalamus latiflorus, ไผ่ซางคำ (phai sang kham), Taiwan Giant Bamboo, were cut on 7 Feb. 2025 and offered FREE of charge. Four straight, 25 m tall stems were harvested and cut into ten thick-walled, 3.3–5.1 m long poles of 6–12.5 cm in diameter, ideal for heavy construction as poles supporting roof beams.
