Bamboo poles FREE — ลำไม้ไผ่ฟรี

Pile #1: Cut bamboo poles of several different species are available free of charge. In the next few weeks, more bamboo poles will be harvested.

Sizes: Length 1-6 m, diameter 1-10 cm, thin and thick walled.

Depending on the species, the poles can be used for heavy and light constructions, interior decoration, furniture making, handicrafts, basketry, supporting climbing plants and many other purposes.

Location: Baan Sammi, ca. 15 km northeast of Chiang Mai, location is on Google Maps.

Viewing: Any day, but 1 day prior notice requested.

There are currently more ready-cut bamboo poles available than are shown on the photo above. We have ready-cut bamboo poles and living bamboo clumps whose stems are due to be cut. The latter include some species with stems particularly useful for heavy constructions. We only cut such stems when required, not in advance. So we recommend seeing the bamboos first, and then you can decide which bamboos you want. Depending on the intended use of bamboo poles, the species should be selected, as no species is suitable for every possible use.
