During the past 2024/2025 dry season, an uncountable number of cut bamboo culms were offered, all for free. These offers were published on numerous Chiang Mai Facebook groups and Khun Sam's Facebook page: altogether 36 offers of piles of bamboo, starting with Pile #49 in January 2025 and ending with Pile #85 in May 2025. Furthermore, numerous free bamboo culms were offered to people for self-harvesting the bamboo clumps from September 2024 to April 2025.
In the coming dry season of 2025/2026, pre-cut bamboo culms will be offered again for FREE, but in significantly smaller quantities.
We recommend contacting us in advance if anyone is interested in bamboo culms. If and when bamboo culms are available, we will offer them to you first.
