46 stems of Gigantochloa lako, syn. Bambusa lako, ไผ่ดำติมอร์ (phai dam timor), Timor Black Bamboo, were cut on 2 Feb. 2025 and offered FREE of charge. Most of the stems are straight, 4–5 m long (up to 7.5 m), and 4–6 (7) cm in diameter, thin-walled to moderately thick-walled, ideal for furniture making, handicrafts, interior design, and fence slats.
