About 100 bamboo culms of different bamboo species, lengths 1–6.6 m, most are ca. 4 m long, diameters 2–7.5 cm, walls thick or thin, some culms are basally solid, all are available for free.

Location: Baan Sammi, 15 km (10 mi) northeast of Chiang Mai, coordinates 18.83523,99.10768, this location is on Google Maps and Google Street View (link on request). There, the bamboo culms can be picked up ANY day between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., but a 1-DAY (24 HOURS) ADVANCE NOTICE is required.

Two Culms of Black Bamboo Are Available for FREE (Pile #43a)

Two cut culms of Bambusa lako (Timor Black Bamboo, ไผ่ดำติมอร์) are available: One is 12 m long and has a basal diameter of 7 cm, the other is 9 m long with 3.5 cm in diameter. Ready to pick up!

Over 100 bamboo culms, most are 3–4 m long by 2–7.5 cm in diameter, and some shorter ones, are available for free. They are of different bamboo species:

Natural bamboo side branches can be used for several purposes. The main use is for making a brushwood fence, a Japanese type constructed by gathering (bamboo) branches together vertically and clamping between horizontal support poles. Photos of such a fence can be googled as "Takeho-gaki" or seen on https://robertketchell.blogspot.com/2014/04/fences.html

The fresh branches, about 1–1.5 m long, were cut several days ago; ready to be picked up. The bamboo species is native Phai Liang (×Thyrsocalamus liang), having strong and durable stems and branches.
