About 12 thick and approx. 15 m long bamboo stems of ไผ่ตง (phai tong), Dendrocalamus asper, were cut by the end of January and in early February 2023. They are available for free as follows:
- 5 pre-cut bamboo poles, 2.3–2.9 m long, basal diameters 9.5–12.5 cm, thick-walled, heavy, available from 29 January. — Already picked up on 30 January, no longer available.
- 3 cut 15 m long stems of which 10 m each are left, available from 29 January. — Already picked up by 1 February, no longer available.
- 2 cut 15 m long stems, not yet removed from the bamboo clump, available from 4 February. — Already picked up by 6 February, no longer available.
